Cotton LEADS℠ Program Presented at USFIA Annual Conference

U.S. Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) hosted their 26th Annual Textile and Apparel Importer Trade and Transportation Conference on November 5, 2014. Berrye Worsham, CEO of Cotton Incorporated, presented factors affecting cotton’s competitiveness: sustainability, cost, innovation, and consumer attitudes. Sustainability is a journey of continuous improvement, as illustrated by the Cotton LEADS℠ program. Worsham highlighted the continuous improvement of cotton production in the U.S. as well as the tools and technology that will be the driving force in improving sustainability.
