Textiles La Libertad - Mexico
Wind and solar power
Textiles La Libertad is family run spinning mill in Mexico using cotton as its main raw material. While they believe quality and service are the qualities that drive their business, they also believe in preserving the environment for years to come. With 50% of the mill energy supply coming from wind power, they have a goal to increase this even more in the coming years. In 2018, they will roll out the next phase of their energy-saving plan where they will be using solar energy as well to help power the facility.
It’s important to Textiles La Libertad to leave the world a better place, which is why they are proud members of the Cotton LEADS program.
